Ali’s current work is principally connected to her research and lecturing at Queen’s University Belfast. As an engaged researcher she has a particular interest in collaborating with artists, cultural organisations and public bodies.

Her background ranges from large and small scale programming and producing with artists to working on strategic management solutions with non-profits and creative businesses. You can see some of her past work here.  In her consultancy work, she has done advisory roles for a range of public bodies, government departments and local authorities. She is also an experienced mentor and has significant experience in public speaking, chairing panels, media and commentary.  

Ali has a long history of voluntary work, from founding advocacy campaigns to work as a Chair and Trustee.
